Walk started at 5pm and we walked down one side of the lake and around the campus to the Fantasy of Lights. Then we walked back around the other side of the lake to finish. It was 46 degrees and misting rain. It was a fun event hosted by the Lawton Walkers.

Night Walk on the River – Christmas 2015
This is the first night walk to view Christmas decorations that I’ve done since 2011. I’ve never done the SA Riverwalk at night. The walk started at the oldest and probably most beautiful VFW Post in Texas.

Mosaic portrait of Texas patriot and signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence, Jose Navarro, below the Navarro Street Bridge.
We climbed the steps from the Riverwalk up to Main Plaza to view the Church and Courthouse.
The walk route returned to the Riverwalk.

Like most of the San Antonio River Walk, this bridge was constructed by the W.P.A between 1929 and 1941.
We climbed the steps at the Theater and went back to Street Level.
We went back down steps returning to the Riverwalk.
